HOW LASER REMOVAL WORKS
Laser tattoo removal effectively fades unwanted ink from the skin by breaking down ink particles into fragments, which can then be absorbed by the body over the weeks following each laser session. The process involves the laser targeting layers of ink, progressively working through until all layers are treated. As the laser interacts with the ink particles, they absorb the light energy, heat up, and subsequently shatter into smaller pieces, allowing the body's immune system to naturally flush them out over time.
MULTIPLE SESSIONS ARE REQUIRED TO ELIMINATE OR FADE A TATTOO SIGNIFICANTLY
Laser tattoo removal is a non-invasive removal method that is safe, fast, and effective. Only laser treatment can penetrate deep into the skin and shatter ink particles without damaging the surrounding skin tissue. Other methods like tattoo removal creams, excision, salabrasion, and acid injections are either ineffective or dangerous and almost always result in scarring. Black Armor Tattoo uses the advanced Astanza Duality laser to deliver the best results in the fewest amount of treatments.

OUR LASER TECHNOLOGY
Black Armor Tattoo uses the industry-leading Astanza Duality Q-switched Nd:YAG laser. Not only is this technology trusted by leading physicians and tattoo removal practitioners worldwide, but Black Armor Tattoo is also the only practice in Murrysville exclusively providing treatments with this cutting-edge technology.
The Astanza Duality is a powerful laser that boasts high pulse energy and ultra-short pulses of 6000 picoseconds to produce intense peak power for optimum ink shattering and faster fading. The Duality is specifically designed to target ink particles trapped in the skin’s dermal layer without harming any surrounding skin tissue.
The Duality produces two of the most versatile wavelengths for laser tattoo removal, 1064 nm and 532 nm. Each of these wavelengths is safe for all skin types and can remove ink in nearly all multicolored tattoos, including black and red. Furthermore, the Duality uses a homogenized square spot laser beam to deliver an even distribution of energy across the skin. This feature minimizes treatment overlap, guaranteeing safer treatment application and fewer risks of side effects.
